About Our Library
The Wamego Public Library opened in 1939 above First National Bank in Wamego, KS. Over the years it has been housed in various locations along Lincoln Ave. Nowadays, our library averages over 40,000 visitors per year, and over 50,000 items checked out!
Libraries store the energy that fuels the imagination. They open up windows to the world and inspire us to explore and achieve, and contribute to improving our quality of life.
