Our Mission

Libraries are vital to an actively growing community. Our organization raises money to support the services offered by the Wamego Public Library, ensuring that the library continues to be an important resource for the community. Some of our fundraising activities include:

• Organizing the annual Thanksgiving Pie Sale

• Providing Halloween treats for the library for the Wamego downtown Trick or Treat on Lincoln

• Supporting the Summer Reading Program

• Purchasing books for Kansas Reads to Preschoolers

• Sponsoring the Little Free Library located in the Wamego Community Garden

• Sponsoring the current Library Expansion Project

• Providing scholarships to high school seniors
